ReStore Social Media and Marketing Intern

position summary:

Alachua Habitat for Humanity is seeking one or two interns to assist our ReStore Director with social media and marketing efforts. Interns will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of ReStore marketing and social media plans. The ReStore Social Media and Marketing Intern is expected to contribute 5-10 hours per week.

representative duties/assignments:

Create content for Facebook and Instagram through graphics and videos
Take and and share photos of new and unique donated items
Update and maintain a social media posting schedule
Assist with the promotion of ReStore specials and events

minimum requirements:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, Facebook, and Instagram
Strong communication skills (visual, verbal, and written)
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and manage several projects at one time
Ability and desire to work collaboratively with others to accomplish goals
