Blue Donation Boxes

How it works

The Alachua Habitat for Humanity ReStore partners with Suncoast Textile Recycling to turn clothing and shoes into funds that we put directly into our mission of bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

Suncoast Textile Recycling works with partners worldwide (in places such as West Africa, Haiti, Honduras, and Mexico) to provide the much-needed clothing and shoes to help victims of natural disasters and their homeless/disadvantaged populations.

Where to find AHFH donation boxes

Our blue donation boxes are located behind the ReStore.

Why it works

Not only do your donations to the blue donation boxes help you clean out your closets, but they help people around the world in times of crisis, divert waste from our local landfill, and help Alachua Habitat partner with more families to create safe and affordable housing in Alachua County.
