​Alachua Habitat for Humanity is seeking interns to assist our Outreach Coordinator in marketing efforts of our organization. Interns will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of its marketing, business development, and public relations strategies.

​​representative duties/assignments:

• ​Create content for Alachua Habitat Facebook, Instagram, website, etc. including graphics and videos
• Update and maintain a social media posting schedule
• Engage with and maintain relationships with our donors and sponsors
• Uphold the brand standards of Alachua Habitat for Humanity

• Assist staff and the student-led campus chapter in promoting events/advertising
• Promote and represent Alachua Habitat at out of office events

​​preferred skills:

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, Microsoft Office applications, and Canva
• Advertising/marketing experience and/or strong desire to learn
• Creative and functional design experience (preferred)
• Strong communication skills (visual, verbal, & written)
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, and manage several projects at one time
• Ability and desire to work collaboratively with others to accomplish goals
