The goal of future Habitat homeowners John and Elea is a simple, yet powerful one: they want to improve the lives of their children. Both John and Elea came from families that did not have much when they were growing up, which has motivated them to build a better life for their children. Their main priority has been to provide an environment for their kids that teaches them what hard work and determination can do. Unfortunately with the high cost of housing, John and Elea have struggled to afford safe and healthy places to raise their family. This will change with their Alachua Habitat and Interfaith home. Their work with Habitat will not only change their current situation—it will create a legacy for their children to pass on from one generation to the next.
