Professional Volunteer

Position Summary:

Alachua Habitat for Humanity is currently seeking a professional volunteer to provide administrative assistance to the Outreach Coordinator. This is a volunteer opportunity in which the volunteer will utilize their skills to assist with duties within the office and provide oversight for upcoming Alachua Habitat special projects. Please note that this is an unpaid position.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Outreach Coordinator
  • Provide oversight for special projects/events
  • Manage scheduling and other office duties
  • Collaborate with the Outreach Coordinator to manage tasks

Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to set and meet deadlines, prioritize, and manage several projects at one time
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Strong computer application skills (Microsoft word & excel)
  • Strong initiative and self motivation
