Gainesville City Commission Proclaims 2011 “Alachua Habitat for Humanity Year”

The City of Gainesville Commission has named the year 2011 “Alachua Habitat for Humanity Year” in honor of our 25 years of service. The proclamation cited Alachua Habitat as being a non-profit ecumenical Christian Housing ministry that since 1986 “has sought to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world and make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.”
